Hasbro-Releasing-Star-Wars-Bladebuilders-Lightsabers-SetsToy Fair announced Hasbro's Star Wars “Blade builders” The all new Bladebuilders “custom Lightsaber” range finally allows fans of the series to invite new ways to strike down they're real life enemy.
Fans of toys and Star Wars have been waiting for the release of Blade Builders to happen for as long as the fans lightsaber and movie have existed simultaneously, and we finally get them this fall, just in time for what will, without a shadow of a doubt be the biggest movie of this year.
Lets face it Star Wars is massive and so will be the new film and its release. So the timing is not only marketing no-brainer but at the same time the Blade builders release actually promise to be almost as big for fans too.
Star Wars Blade Builders will allow players to take apart and reconfigure custom lightsabers within the limits of there imagination or that of the reenactment of the up and coming new Star Wars movie release.
Want to slice off your own arm? No problem. Take out a leg and someone else's eye? According to StarWars.com, the Bladebuilders sets will be available at a variety of price points. There's the Jedi Master Lightsaber for $50, which gives players access to the main weapon, extension hilts and all the lights and sounds. For $20 the Blade builders Classic Lightsabers will be styled after iconic weapons from the franchise universe, with components that can be removed and combine with others to make weird stuff. There'll also be extendible blade versions of the classics and foan blade versions, all compatible with the system.
The Force may be strong with your kids, but the tools ain’t cheap.
The toyline will be on display at New York city’s Toy Fair from Saturday through Tuesday. Check out images of the toys below:
